Geographic Connection About 1733 Mordecai Lincoln, Jr., a great-great-grandfather (1) of President Abraham Lincoln (2,3), built a home near Lorane, Pennsylvania, where he lived until his death in 1736. In 1737, about 10 miles southwest of the Lincoln home, our ancestors [an error occurred while processing this directive], along with Jacob's sister Anna Musselman, and his brother Christian and their families, settled along Muddy Creek near what eventually would become Bowmansville, PA.
