Kraichgau is a region of southwest Germany where many Swiss Mennonite exiles settled in the mid 1600s, particularly around Sinsheim. (1) On the enlarged map below, Sinsheim is just above and left of the "h" in "Kraichgau."

Formerly Kraichgau was a part of the Palatinate. (2) It now is a part of the state of Baden-Württemberg of the Federal Republic of Germany. (3)

Family Connection Several members of the Good family who immigrated to Lancaster Co., PA in the 1700s came from the Sinsheim area in Kraichgau, including our ancestors Peter Good (GC) and his son Jacob.
