Neuchatel, KS was formed about 1857 by a small group of immigrants
from the French-speaking part of Switzerland after they spent a few
years in Indiana. (1-3) The little town still shows an 1895 map of
Nemaha Co. (4) The location shown on the map above is for
the Neuchatel City Cemetery. (5)
