The Palatinate is an area of what is now southwest Germany from which many Mennonites emigrated during the 1700s and 1800s. (1)

Family Connection In 1727 and then in 1732, our ancestors Peter Good (GC) and then his son Jacob emigrated to Lancaster Co., PA from near Sinsheim. Sinsheim is about 15-20 miles southeast of Speyer and beyond the edge of this map.
